INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAYS 2008
VISION STATEMENT

Indigenous Peoples Days is an annual event which brings together native and non native people to honor indigenous history and culture.

All volunteer, the October event is a fundraiser for the TsiAkim Maidu Trbe of the Taylorsville Rancheria, Nevada City, California. Some expenses - transportation, food and shelter - may be compensated to invited presentors by prior arrangement . Also, expenses are paid for technical support. Otherwise, all organizers, staff, and guests participate in Indigenous Peoples Days as volunteers.

In response to the atrocities of our past, we are called today to serve our community in its healing.
